Mark Feil is a composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist whose musical experience spans more than five decades. Classically trained, he has performed in orchestras, choirs, jazz ensembles, rock bands, musical revues, and as a solo artist. A longtime bassist, Mark plays both fretted and fretless bass, along with guitar and keyboards, and is an experienced vocalist and songwriter. His diverse musical background provides a broad foundation for his work in composition and production.

Mark's music spans a variety of styles, from cinematic tension, suspense, and horror to orchestral hybrid, electronic, and cyberpunk, as well as rock, acoustic, ambient, new age, and lo-fi hip-hop. His productions frequently blend organic musicianship with electronic production and sometimes incorporate musical influences from different cultures.

His recording and production experience dates to the late 1990s, when his independent studio work led to placements in local television and radio advertising, as well as a track featured in the closing credits of Robert Massetti's independent short film Blackout, released under the Fear Film Studio moniker. In 2008, he released his self-produced solo album, A Thousand Suns.

Today, Mark is primarily focused on composing and producing original instrumental music for film, television, and other visual media, with music signed to multiple publishers. While sync composition is his primary focus, songwriting and vocal performance remain important parts of his musical identity. His work reflects a lifelong commitment to creating distinctive music that serves the story while standing on its own as a musical work.
